The White Stripes - Little bird

Today's track: The White Stripes - "Little Bird"
Recommended if you like: Blues, old fashioned rock & roll, The Black Keys.
Where I might have heard it already: They used to play it live pretty often, so if you were lucky enough to catch them in concert, you may have seen it already.
Why it rules: There aren't really a ton of bands making straight-forward music like this (at least that do it well). If you're mainly just familiar with some of their bigger songs like "Seven Nation Army" or "Fell in Love with a Girl," this one is off De Stijl, which was their second album. The larger hits started coming a year later, so this album sometimes gets overlooked in their career. Sadly, after The White Stripes announced they were no longer continuing as a band, the only way to enjoy them was to keep looking backwards in their catalog.
However: If this isn't enough for you, I highly recommend the documentary that came out last year which chronicled a uniquely built Canadian tour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Under_Great_White_Northern_Lights).
